Wanda June Amos

Wanda June Moreland Amos, age 84, of Clarksburg, WV passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Belington, WV.

She was born in Buckhannon, WV; the daughter of the late Floyd and Idell Gowers Moreland. Wanda was a homemaker. She was a member of Little Rock Camp Church and enjoyed going to local Gospel sings.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Pam Amos & her partner, Gene Herbert of Philippi, WV; grandson, Brandon Welch & his wife, Courtney of Clarksburg, WV; a great grandson, Logan Welch of Clarksburg, WV; and many nieces and nephews; and a special four legged dog, Rachel Ray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donley Ralph Amos; an infant child, Sonny Amos; and one sister, Betty Hawkinberry.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 10:00am to time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Tim Sandy, presiding. Interment will take place at West Virginia National Cemetery.
