I am a former classmate of Jane..went all thru school with her from elementary school and our class of '66 FSHS stayed in touch on Facebook. I now live in Fl and had enjoyed keeping in touch with her. I was shocked to hear of her death. She had just attended a reunion on sept 23. Her brother Frank went to school with my sisters class. All of us from the class of 66 give prayers to her family and friends at church. She will be missed greatly by all of us. It was so nice to read messages from the church members on her activities at church. Blessings to her and her family. ANNETTE HAWKINS HOGLE

Jane was the ultimate hostess and welcomed everyone to church coffee hour with open arms. She would rave about all others and be humble pertaining to herself. My children grew up knowing Jane and her beautiful spirit. Our family will dearly miss our friend. John and Jeannie Smith Erica, Alex, Mitch, Marlee and Katie

Sharing Jane's passion for feeding her friends was a joy. We, her Minions (faithful servants) spent many hours chopping, stirring and laughing as Jane directed us in the kitchen upstairs at Christ Church. She was famous for her delicious and unusual finger food. She said it was just simple combinations of flavors but many never heard of her variety. All raved and devoured! I will miss those times and our many trips to just have a fun day.

We were saddened to hear of Jane's death. Our children grew up with Christ episcopal Church as their church family. They all sang, played bells and we're professional acolytes. They all brought a smile to Jane on multiple occasions. Our youngest Becca was married on her death day. I knowJane was doing the heavenly electric slide or a food critique. We now live in Northern Michigan and our children are scattered. We were all together the morning after the wedding, when we heard. Our love and prayers are coming your way. I know you will raise the roof of the church in song, a fitting tribute to our sister in Christ. Go in peace our dear friend.Pat and Hilary Galey, Sarah Galey and Julian HornHannah GaleyPat andJennny GaleyBecca Galey and Jessse Russell

I am so very sorry for the loss of your Aunt Jane. I knew her from being a member of the Clarksburg Library Book Discussion Group. We could tell she loved her family very much. She will be sorely missed by our group. Cecelia Reid
