Dorothy M. Riggleman

Dorothy M. Riggleman, 88, of Clarksburg, WV passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at United Hospital Center following a sudden illness.
She was born February 17, 1926, twin sister of Doris Antoline, youngest of 8 children to Edward S. and Zillah Hutchison in Houtzdale, PA. She was married to Robert Riggleman, who died on January 23, 2008. She is survived by three daughters, Doris (Herbert) Longwell, of Clarksburg, Susan (David) Jackson of Maumee, Ohio and Mary (Brian) Bland of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother; Edward Hutchison of Wilmington, NC and two sisters-in-law; Avis Rowan of Clarksburg and Joan Riggleman of Mabie, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a member of Queen Esther Chapter No. 11 of Clarksburg in the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She was a bookkeeper for most of her life beginning at the age of 17, having worked for Beeghley's Real Estate for 42 years. She was an avid bowler, acting as Secretary of two leagues for many years and was inducted in the WV State Bowling Hall of Fame in 2001. She was also Sec/Treasurer of the Nutter Fort Swimming Pool for 15 years and Treasurer of the Roosevelt Wilson Band Boosters for 5 years.
The family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, January 25, 2015 from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, with an Eastern Star service being held at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Sam Cale, III officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens, Elkins, WV.
