Message from Lydia Dorofee - December 07, 2014 at 03:04 PM

I loved my Aunt Shirley. Whenever I think of her, it is with very fond memories. I will never forget the time she went delivering newspapers with me and my brother Bill, early one snowy morning. She was pulling the wagon in the snow, and she kept throwing the newspapers, and they weren't landing were they were supposed to. We were laughing like crazy! She was up for anything. I have countless memories of her. But, the main thing I can say is that when she was up visiting here in New Jersey at my mom's (her sister Brenda's) the place I wanted to be was near her. She was like a comfy old sweater or something. As corny as that sounds, those who knew her probably know what I mean. I remember just telling her I loved her just out of the blue when I was near her. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with my mom, and the rest of her friends and family that have gone before her. RIP Aunt Shirley. Till we met again at the pearly gates. I love you <3

Mine and Grace's sincere regrets for my Aunt Shirley's untimely death. Our hearts go out to uncle Squeek and all her survivors.May you all rejoice in the memory and time you spent with this wonderful lady! I only regret that the many miles between us keep us from developing a proper aunt/uncle relationship. Our prayers are with you all....
