Karolann, Olivia, Victoria and Noah,I spend my days putting together words to tell stories, to make people laugh, to paint a picture, to stir an emotional reaction. Yet, as I tried to find words to provide a reasonable form of comfort for a beautiful family whose pain I not only can't imagine or even want to, the words I seek escape me.I wish I could fix this for you. I can't. I can, however, tell you what you already know. Seth Nicholson was loved and he loved others as well - no one more than the four of you.I always saw so much in Seth; a beautiful young man intertwined with every emotion one could think of could be seen in his eyes. I can't tell you how Seth felt about many things in his life, but I can tell you that he loved his mother; he loved his brother and sisters.My last conversation with Seth was while pumping gas at the Rich Station in Clarksburg. We had small talk, but it was family talk. I asked how everyone was doing and he was quick to tell me and was happy to tell me in detail. Seth's largest words and conversations were for those in his closest circles, but that changed if you asked about his family. He always had all the time and all the words available if you wanted to know about mom, his sisters or his baby brother.He glowed talking about his siblings. He smiled that cheeky smile when you asked about his mother. It's been the same reaction for as long as I can remember.As much as I'll miss the chance encounter with Seth - who always brought up fond memories in my head - I have no doubt the measure that the four of you and those closest in his family and social ring miss him makes my sorrow appear as a grain of sand. I can only tell you to hold onto those memories he stirs in your conscience.God grants us many gifts in life and there are some that even the finality of the passing of a loved one cannot erase. Memories of those we care for are one of those gifts. Love is yet another.Try to let those sustain you. Allow others to help. Lean on those around you as hard as you want and as long as you want. In what must feel like the emptiest time of your lives, please know you are not alone. And know that Seth loved you all to the same levels you have always loved and will continue to love him.May God grant you the Peace you so desperately seek.All my love is with you,Jeff Toquinto

I didn't know Seth but I do know Victoria and I knew a sister could never love a brother more. Victoria told me her brother Seth had helped her with an original song she had written. The song ended up receiving high recognition from The Catholic Daughters Song Writing Competetion. It was obvious that Seth loved his family and they in turn loved him.
