I wasnt fortunate enough to know Mattie too well, I am a friend of a friend. But i can tell you from meeting and seeing her just the few times i had, she was a very special person to some very special people to me. I wanted to tell you all you have me deepest sympathy and I am so sorry you lost someone who meant so much at a way too young age!!!!!!

I haven't told your best friend (Taylor) that you are gone. Im going to miss the smile you put on her face when you walked in the room saying "Hey Boo!" We use to laugh all the time at my verbal reminder that you were my friend not hers and that you were coming to visit me! Eventually I accepted that I had to share you with Taylor! lol Her birthday party is the last celebration we enjoyed together. As you can see by the smile on her face you made your best friend feel very special with this bike! We love you more than you would ever know

I was fortunate enough to have met Mattie at work; we both had orientation on the same day. She never met a stranger and had an instant connection with those around her. She loved to be happy and had the cutest giggle ever, yet a very serious side when it came to ensuring that her patients were taken care of with the up most of care. As a nursing supervisor, she had a strong voice for her nurses. An excellent nurse, highly educated, well rounded person, who instantly became a friend to those around her. She will be truly and dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Mattie was like an older sister to Paige when we were on dance/ cheer trips. She used to carry Paige around on her hip when Paige was little. I'll never forget how Mattie jokingly called Chip "dad" and me "mom" (because my name is Crystal like her mother). She always brighten the day and put a smile in our faces. We will always cherish our memories of Mattie and her mother Crystal. We love you Mattie, may you rest in peace. May God bless her family and friends. Prayers are with you.

I met Mattie at work and we instantly had a connection. We would text at the oddest hours and she always knew how to bring a smile to your face. She will be missed here by her friends in SC. My deepest condolences to her family for such a tragic loss.
