I just learned of your passing today....you are Truely missed! It was always such a pleasure when you came to A C Moore to get supplies for Camp Catch Your Breath or scouts etc. The love you shared for those children spilled over into ever project you chose. I miss your sweet smile & laugh. I will be praying for your family for peace & comfort in your absence. It was a joy to get to know you.

Many yrs ago I was a sister in law to Mary ....I was married to her only brother Jerry Toothman but we used to spend a lot of time together as young parents w/sm children having cookouts etc together. ... But one fall in particular when the leaves on the trees were still absolutely & breathtakingly beautiful ... we decided to get together for Halloween & take our kids ...Marys two--> "Jessica & Sparky "...and our son---> "Jeremiah" .. trick or treating all together... Anyway I wish I still had the pics of that particular occasion but I don't anymore...But it stands out as one of the many times we got together and we simply had a great time! The kids were all dressed up so very cute. I have been in touch w/Marys parents thru the many yrs a coule of times & I have also seen Sparky & her brother Jerry (my ex) on few occasions as well. I didn't tho ever see Mary again after her brother & I split up. Am not sure why I remember that particular Halloween but I just wanted to at least say/leave a lil note of some kind here in her memory..... My PRAYERS & LOVE go out to her FAMILY & ALL of YOU that loved & knew her so well... May she rest in peace & we will see her again one day in the kingdom of heaven... Respectfully, Constance E (White) Starkey....

I worked with Mary at the Old UHC on 5 north. Mary loved to bake and I will never forget the time she made a GREEN Velvet cake for St. Patricks day! It was delicious and a lot of fun for all. May you be at peace Mary and peace to your family also! Jeannine Sandora

My love for your family will never fade and my heart aches for the loss and sorrow that is placed on your family as she was taken way too early! Her kindness and love were unmatched and I still treasure the homemade gifts that Mary lovingly made for myself and my kids. No one was more accepting of others into her home and life, and I remember countless times when she went out of her way to make opportunities for fun! She will be missed more than words can say!All My Love, Angela (Goodwin) Maylin

Mary was one of the most dedicated band mom I knew. She was there when ever you needed her, she worked many hours at fund raisers and smile during it all. On band trips she was there if someone got sick or over heated, many times walking the route with the band in the heat or the rain. I consider Mary as one of my friends, when I join band boosters and was president she was always there when I had questions and there to jump in and help whenever she was needed. I know many kids at South Harrison called her their band mom and that was what she was not just with her son but all the students. She will be missed. Until we meet again Mary, rest in peace.Betty Lopez
