M. Jane Ashcraft

M. Jane Vannoy Ashcraft, 56, of Bridgeport, WV passed away at her residence. Born January 5, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV; daughter of the late William D and Ruth E. Weekly Vannoy. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Gladys Vannoy and Mable Weekly.

Jane is survived by her two sisters, Barbara Burnett & brother-in-law, H. D. "Bud" Burnett of Bridgeport, Margaret A. Pringle & brother-in-law, Michael R. Pringle of Clarksburg, WV; nieces and nephews, Lisa and Craig Holt of Worthington, Jason and Terra Burnett of Clarksburg, Jeff Burnett of Bridgeport, William (Bill) and Cheryl Pringle of Mt. Clare, Andrew (Andy) and Tonja Pringle of Salem; great nieces and nephews, Jacob Holt of Worthington Ashleigh, Bradley, and Hannah Burnett of Clarksburg, Billy and Austin Pringle of Mt. Clare, Isaac, Sarah and Kayla Pringle of Salem, great-great niece, Adalynn Pringle of Mt. Clare. Special friend, Cindy Hutson, that she thought of as a sister since 1st grade; aunt and uncle, Chuck and Jeanette Vannoy of Beltsville, MD; several cousins.

Jane graduated from Liberty High School and Fairmont State College. She was employed with the FBI for 24 years. She enjoyed family and friends, crafts, reading, golfing, gardening and most of all shopping. Jane loved her cats and spending time with them.

Jane was a past member of the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, Sunnycroft Country Club, Mountaineer League and was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Adamston.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98 Clarksburg, on Monday June 22, 2015 from 2:00 until time of service at 7:00pm with Reverend Brian Plum presiding.
