Lena June Grigsby

Lena June Grigsby, age 88, of Browns Mills, NJ passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was born June 14, 1928 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to the late Virgil Ray Wise and Anna (Green) Wise; she was a longtime resident of Browns Mills, NJ.

Lena worked 23 years at the Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ before retiring. She was also a member of the Juliustown United Methodist Church.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Grigsby; a daughter, Katherine Ann Grigsby-Bartz in January 2016; two brothers, Clinton and Franklin Wise; and a sister, Frankie Holloway.

Lena is survived by a son, Cecil S. Grigsby of Browns Mills, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 10:00am until time of service at 11:30am with Reverend Luther Perry, presiding. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
