Jaunita J Hawkins

Jaunita J (Lewis) Hawkins, 85, of Joliet, Illinois died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ, while with her daughter.
Jaunita was born in Nutter Fort, a daughter of the late Revy and Cressie (Richards) Lewis, and resided there until she married her husband, Carl Hawkins. She moved to suburban Chicago and worked for Nabisco until retirement. After the death of her husband she has resided between her children in Joliet, Illinois and Vineland, NJ.
She is survived by a son; Carl R. (Patty) Hawkins of Joliet, Illinois and a daughter; Carolyn M (Drexel) Perry of Vineland, NJ; One sister; Katheryn Gillis of Bishop, CA, 7 grandchildren; Carl J (Sherry) Hawkins, David W (Becky) Hawkins, Kevin (Julie) Walhof, Michelle J (Perry) Caradonna, Vicki L (Grady) Massie, Jamie L Perry, Drexel L (Melanie) Perry III; 9 great grandchildren; Bryce, Jessica, Kiara, Hailee, Danae, Gage, Gavin, Olivia and Alexis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carl S Hawkins, one son, James William Hawkins, two brothers, Joseph Lewis and Homer Lewis, and one sister, Francis Allen.
Family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 12:00-2:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday February 2, 2015 in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Les Benedum officiating. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.
