To all the Carter family, I will always remember that laugh and smile of Gary's. I spent many hours with the band back in the early 90's and became friends with most of the kids, especially Gary. My thoughts, prayers and condolences to my second family, the Carders. As much of a pain in the behind as Gary was, he was always like a brother to me and I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I love y'all. ~ Annie

I'll never forget your personality or your sense of humor. You always knew how to make a room smile & laugh when you would walk in, Your presence always made everyone feel loved & appreciated & wanted. You were a man of great character & you had a heart of gold. As the days go by it gets harder without you, my heart gets heavier. All I can think of is how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. This isn't goodbye, it's see you soon. ??

Carder was what my dad always called him. I first met Carder when My Dad( Larry Barnett), worked at Mountain State Auto Auction. There is not one time that I've seen Carder that he hadn't stopped to say Hello and he always had a big smile on his face. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I didn't get to see him often, but he will surely be missed. To his friends and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Carder was a great man with a big heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you. May God Bless you and ease your pain.

Gary was my rock n protector n I was his. He was my buddy, best friend n like a brother to me. I will miss you and our crazy times and things we would do like late night trips to Walmart or sheetz. R.I.P n watch over us all. I love you n ur furbabies do too.

Barbara and Allen, I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. My Mama said that losing a child was the hardest thing she ever had to endure.
