Evelyn J. Wilson Gallo

Evelyn J. Wilson Gallo, of Reynoldsville, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 25, 2015. She was born December 12, 1932 in Wilsonburg, WV; daughter of the late Stanley A. and Mary M. Gerrard Wilson, Sr. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Joe Billy Gallo. Not only was she his rock but also her children, Beverly Jo Gallo Stickel, of Reynoldsville, Bobby Joe (Sandra Wheaton) Gallo of Peoria, AZ, Stanley D. Gallo and Aaron Lee Gallo of Reynoldsville, as well as her grandchildren, Jenifer D. Foy of Kent, OH, Josh Stickel of Clarksburg, Amy Gallo (Rob) Saffer of Tolleson, AZ and Tina Gallo (Lindsey) Troy of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren, Tajah Wright, Tyriq Wright of Kent, OH, Alexandria Saffer, Sydney Saffer of Tolleson, AZ, Dominic Lily, Joshua Scott Plaughter of Clarksburg, Tala Stickel of Reynoldsville, Brad Jaynes and Ty Dziados of Akron, OH; two sisters, Joan (Wilson) Clemente Fogg of PA, Sharon (Wilson) Fornash Emerson of WV; four brothers, Eddie and Linda Wilson of OH, Hurley "Tinker" and Shirley of TN, Marvin "Clem" and Kathy Wilson of WV, Melvin "Toddy" and Carol Wilson of OH. She was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Wilson Collier, five brothers, Stanley A. Wilson, Jr., Billy Wilson, Mack Wilson, Richard Wilson and Ronnie Wilson. Evelyn was baptized, October 19, 2014 by Pastor Bob Marino, Reynoldsville New Hope Independent Christian Church. She was retired from Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center with 12 years of service, going to work there at 62 years old. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Eagles and Elks, a former High Priestess and officer of Tefnet Court #87 Ladies Oriental Shrine in Clarksburg; having traveled across America for Grand Council meetings. Therefore, she is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to Shriners Children's Hospital, 1900 Richmond Rd, Lexington, KY, 40505. A private visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 11, 2015; followed by a public memorial service at 4:00pm with Pastors Bob Marino and Marvin "Clem" Wilson.
