Message from Lisa-Joe McClain - January 26, 2016 at 04:21 PM

We enjoyed conversations and visits with Delene. She always had a smile on her face and plenty of humorous stories to share. She was always positive, full of life and faith. She began conversations with a quick-witted remark or funny story, followed by inquiring about our families and sending them her love. We'll miss our time together and many laughs, they are treasured and cherished memories. We remember...her life, love, faith, resolve, kindness, generosity, her smile...and most of all...her laugh.Joe, Lisa, Josiah & Abigail McClain

I've known all of Delene's daughters since college at FSU. She raised the finest and most caring humans this planet has had the opportunity to know. Her smile and smirks and giggles and curiosities and women she raised is what I will always treasure. Prayer warrior doesn't do it justice... From afar she provided her love and dedication to God to family, friends and strangers. Her smiles and wisdom will be missed.

I loved visiting with Delene whenever she came to visit Christa, Mark, and Adalay! She never failed to make me laugh. She had a wonderful way of making me feel cared about and important. She always amazed me because she remembered all the details of my life and my families'. I will miss our visits, especially the look in her eyes when she looked at Christa and Adalay!
