Dad, It's been 2 years ... The first time I have been able to read these messages left by so many caring people. I am still not accepting that you are not coming back or gonna call. My mind has made this a story where you pulled this disappearing act to teach me something or to prove you were right about whatever we were debating. All my love ...

Dave was one of the best people I have ever known. I was a true friend to me, even though we have lived a 1000 miles away from each other, I always knew he was there for me. I loved him very much. I hope he is at peace and I know I will see him again. Rest in peace my friend and know that I will miss you and never forget our times together.

Dave wanted to take his dog (Bing) to visit where he was born, I took them to Georgia and he had a good visit with his friend where Bing was born. It meant a lot to Dave, this was about ten years ago and I am so thankful that I was able to enjoy this trip with them. Trina Hathaway
