Creed Patrick Chipps

Creed Patrick Chipps, 74, of Clarksburg passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his residence.

He was born November 1, 1940 in Berryburg, WV; son of the late Creed and Mary Rose Rowe Chipps.

Creed was preceded in death by one infant sister, Angelina Mae Chipps. He is survived by his loving wife, of 25 years, Donna Louise Bennett Chipps; three sons, James Patrick "JP" Chipps of Ponte Verda, FL, Mike and Donna G. Chipps of Clarksburg,WV, Issac Daniel Hiney of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Jordan, Jeremy, Gabriella, Brandon, Elijah, Kannon; one sister, Peggy Vincent of Bridgeport, WV.

Creed retired from Local 33 Sheet Metal; was a member of the Musicians Local 580 of Clarksburg. He loved trucks, motorcycles, travel, camping. He enjoyed life and loved people.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98/Nutter Fort, on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm; funeral service will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00am with Reverend J.R. Dean officiating. In keeping with Creeds wishes, he will be cremated following the service.
