I grew up in Reynoldsville and was just two years younger than Chuck so, of course, I remember him well. If I looked up the word 'ornery' in the dictionary, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see his picture. My prayers and sympathy are with his family.Elaine Griffith Westfall

Chuck and I were friends all of our lives. After I returned from Vietnam in 1971 I met him. I bought a 327 Chevy Impala SS 4 speed. One night after doing what young men do after 12:00 (it was 3:30 in the morning) I dumped the clutch on the powerful Chevy and tore the running gears out of it. Chuck decided to call Paul Eneix, his Father, for help. I didn't want to meet is Dad under such circumstances and calling my Dad was not going to happen. Anyway, Paul came after us and took both of us into his home. He didn't become anything but another friend. We talked till morning and....well Chuck helped me go get the Chevy 10 miles away. Chuck was always a friend. And, I know, even after his death, he still is. Bob Moore.
