Beth Ann Townsend

Beth Ann Talago Townsend, 54, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday August 13, 2016 at her residence.

She was born October 18, 1961 in Clarksburg; daughter of Stanley and the late Judith Ann Rice Talago.

Beth is survived by her husband, Carl Townsend, Sr.; one daughter, Megan Osbourne and Gary Llma of Richmond, VA; two step-children Carl Townsend, II of West Milford, Sierra Townsend of Clarksburg; and three grandchildren Madison Llma of Richmond, VA, Mason Miller and Peyton Johnson of Clarksburg; two brothers, Bruce Talago and companion Paula of Bridgeport and Stanley Talago of Grafton; and a nephew, Bruce S. Talago, II of Bridgeport.

Beth was a 1979 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in Medical Records and later graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Information Technology. She was the Director of Medical Records at Arlington County Hospital. Beth enjoyed all animals, especially her chickens and sugar gliders.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98 Clarksburg, on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:00pm with Carl Bartlett officiating.
