Gary Wayne Carder

Gary Wayne Carder, 39, of Clarksville, PA, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away July 8, 2014 at his home. He was born in Wheeling, WV on February 7, 1975 the son of Allen William Carder, Jr. and Barbara Dennison Carder.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters; Rebecca "Becky" Wick of Shinnston and Amy Beth Tate and husband Walter James Tate, Jr.; two nieces; Amber Dawn Wick and Sara Nicolee Tate; two nephews; John Allen Wick and Walter "Jamie" Tate, III; Companions; Laura Rhea Novillo and Philip Haden of Clarksville, PA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Robert and Charlotte Dennison and Allen Carder, Sr.

Gary worked in the food industry as a General Manager. He belonged to Spelter Volunteer Fire Department, he was an Eagle Scout, and a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. He was an avid dirt track racing fan, especially Lucas Oil.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg from 1:00-2:30pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home. A private Interment will be held on Monday at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
