William "Bill" Paul McKinney

William “Bill” Paul McKinney, 67, of Spelter passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at his home.  He was born on November 17, 1957 in Clarksburg a son of the late Mary Rose Godfrey McKinney.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dreama White McKinney, whom he married on June 8, 2000.

He is also survived by five children, Dayna Seftick and husband Kevin of Clarksburg, Dee Winkler of Elkins, Kevin Winkler and wife Jessica of Lumberport, Alissa McKinney of Spelter and Andrea McKinney and companion Levi Martin of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Abagail Winkler, Liam Haught and Mason Lewis; and one great granddaughter, Brayleigh Lewis.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kayla Winkler and one sister, Diane Yoak.

Bill was employed as a security guard for High Tech Foundation for the last 10 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army as well as the United States Navy.  Bill was a very hard working man and he enjoyed ceramic painting, wood working, and working in his yard.  He was also a fan of Hard Rock and Star Wars.  Bill will be missed by his family and friends
