William "Bill" Ledon Lacher, Jr.

William "Bill" Ledon Lacher, Jr., 66 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Genesis Salem Center.

Bill was born May 25, 1954 in Fairmont, son of the late William Ledon and Dorothy Estalene Forrester Lacher.

Bill graduated from WV Business College as a Paralegal and worked for Mutschelknaus Enterprises. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades. He collected guns, knives, military memorabilia and enjoyed hunting.

Bill is survived by two children, Stormy Elise Dickson, Spring Hill, FL, Victor Ledon Lacher and Monica, Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Cody Joshua Lacher, Alyssa Season Dickson, Madison Paige Lacher and J.T. Bunting, Abryana Rain Dickson, and Abigail Jade Lacher; one great grandbaby on the way.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one great grandson, John Carter Lacher Bunting; one brother, Peter Corbitt; one sister, Gale Hatcher.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 3-7PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the WV National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the United State Army Honor Guard.
