Wendy was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1974. She worked for a short time at Anchor Hocking, where fate led her to meet the love of her life, Wayne, beginning a lifelong journey together filled with love and devotion.
Wendy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling, especially going to the beach and to the mountains, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time in the kitchen preparing meals and desserts for the people she cared about most. Christmas was an especially cherished time for her, made even more meaningful because her daughter Natasha’s birthday fell on Christmas Day. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and the sweet aroma of homemade treats and goodies she lovingly prepared for neighbors and friends. She found her greatest joy in giving to others, making everyone around her feel special, welcomed, and deeply cared for.
Above all, Wendy will be remembered for the love and strength she shared so freely with those around her. She was caring, strong-willed, amazing, loving, and endlessly supportive, a woman whose warmth, kindness, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love for family and friends, along with the countless memories she created, will be treasured forever.
