Wendy Ann Cleavenger, 60, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 27, 2026.
She was born on December 3, 1965, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Wendell William Varsak and Ruth Ellen Hughes Varsak.
Wendy was the heart of her home—a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud homemaker whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Pasqualla “Jim” Junior Cleavenger, and their four children, Chrisie, Corey and fiancée India, Cody, and Chad Cleavenger, all of Fairmont.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Christine E. Varsak.
Wendy found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed collecting vases, glassware, and dolls, and loved spending quiet days fishing. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, creating a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter. She also had a special place in her heart for her cherished wiener dogs—Snicker, Butter, and Missy Lou—who brought her endless comfort and companionship.
Wendy will be remembered for her kind heart, her deep love for her family, and the gentle way she cared for those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will live on in all who knew her.
Those wishing to honor Wendy’s life are invited to share condolences and memories online at www.davisfuneralhomewv.com.
