Virginia Louise McCauley, 97, of Clarksburg passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Pierpont Center in Fairmont with her family by her side. She was born August 1, 1922, in Shinnston, the daughter of the late Dominick and Constance Veltri Madia.
Virginia graduated from Victory High School. She worked at the Arc of Harrison County. Virginia was a seamstress, and was famous for her spaghetti and meatballs and pepperoni rolls.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Constance Strother, Clarksburg; two grandchildren, Carson Keith Strother, Morgantown, David Andrew VanCourt, Henrico, VA; three great grandchildren, Delia Rowan Strother, Rebecca Lynn Puleo, and Lindsey Ryan Mick; one great great granddaughter, Allison Puleo; one sister, Betty Jane Steed, San Diego, CA; niece, Deborah Layman; much like family, Brandon Walker; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Earl McCauley; one daughter, Donna VanCourt; one grandson, Ryan Lynn Mick.
