Virginia R (Paletta) Feathers

Virginia R Feathers, 86 of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born December 31, 1932 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosa Paletta.

Virginia is survived by one stepson, Jerry Feathers and Diana, Palm City, FL; one stepdaughter, Diana Drake and Steve, Fairmont; stepdaughter-in-law, Linda Feathers, Clarksburg; one sister, Evelene “Lee” Pinti; step grandchildren, Eric Feathers, Kevin Feathers, Michael Feathers, Jr, Robert Feathers, Thelma Jean Smith, Stephanie Drake, Bryan Drake and Tiffany; several nieces and nephews that she dearly loved; and many special friends that she considered family; also Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Amedisys for the loving care they gave her.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Feathers; stepson, Mike Feathers Sr.; brothers, John, Sam, Joe, Frank and Albert Paletta; sisters; Theresa Bellotte, Mary DeMarco, Julie Walsh and Dorothy Zarick; four siblings in infancy.

Virginia enjoyed going to car shows, volunteering at Heartland Nursing Home, going square dancing with her husband, traveling to Italy and cooking for her family.  She worked at Hazel Atlas for nearly twenty years and was married nearly fifty years. She was a loving wife, stepmother, step grandmother, sister and aunt. She always cherished time with her family and friends.
