Trina Lavaughn Gerrard

Trina Lavaughn Gerrard, 65 of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born on December 26, 1959 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Clarence Melvin and Winiford Lavaughn Sutton Siders.

Trina graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1978, and Fairmont State College, Class of 1980. She had worked at United Hospital Center. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and collecting candles: she especially loved watching and spending time with her grandsons, Ridge and Rhett and her four-legged companions. She was a prior member of Liberty United Methodist Church.    

Trina is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert “Bob” Owen Gerrard whom she married on March 21, 1986; two children, Ashley L Roberts (Rusty), Clarksburg, Benjamin O Gerrard, Clarksburg; two grandsons, Ridge Roberts and Rhett Roberts; one sister, Teresa Dawn Lynch (Danny) Lake Floyd.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.davisfuneralhomewv.com. Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Gerrard family.
