Travis Cain Obituary

Travis Gene Cain, 40 of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Travis was born in Clarksburg on May 15, 1979, the son of Sandra June Streets of Clarksburg and the late Earl Alfred Cain Jr.

Travis was employed as a landscaper at the Clarksburg Country Club. He was an active member of the Harrison County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. Travis enjoyed tinkering with electronics of all kinds. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and NASCAR driver Jimmy Johnson. Travis also held an impressive and extensive collection of Batman memorabilia.

In addition to his mother, Sandra, Travis is survived by wife of twenty years, Amy Lynn Wood Cain; one daughter, Annalise Dominique Shaw; one son, Brenton Oldaker III; one brother, Francis A Cain and children Dalton Cain and Michael Richison, brother-in-law, Frank Wood and Brenda and son Adam; sister-in-law, Sharon Brown, all of Clarksburg.

In addition to his father, Travis was preceded in death by one sister, Lola Dale Cain; one niece, Julie Ann Brown; and one nephew, Aaron Wain.

Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation arrangements for the Cain Family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help the family with expenses on our website.
