Tommy Lee French, Jr., 66, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. Born on March 21, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tommy was the beloved son of the late Tommy Lee French, Sr. and Diana Frances Delvecchia French.
A proud high school graduate, Tommy honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected his sense of duty and quiet strength. In his personal time, he found joy and calm in building model trains, a hobby that brought him comfort and happiness. He also loved cooking and generously sharing his knowledge of food with everyone around him, taking great pleasure in bringing people together through meals and conversation.
Tommy leaves behind his cherished son, Jacob French of Essington, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald French of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur and Mark French, whom he now joins in eternal rest.
