Tina Louise Hicks

Tina Louise Hicks, 59, of Waverly, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in Morgantown.  She was born on July 26, 1966 in East Liverpool, OH, a daughter of the late George McLaughlin and Charlene Harris Cottrill.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Hicks.

She is survived by one son, Robert McLaughlin and wife Miranda of St. Marys; two step children, Dennis Hicks and Nicole Hicks; grandchildren, James Hicks, Ash Hicks, Braxton McLaughlin, Christina McLaughlin, Arabella McLaughlin, Jamie Gross and Richard Gross.

Tina spent many years working as an in-home caregiver, quietly dedicating herself to caring for others until she was no longer able to continue. She had a natural way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, and her kindness left a lasting impression on those she helped.

She truly cherished time with her grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness. Whether she was with family or out riding her side-by-side, those were the moments she enjoyed most.

Tina will be remembered as caring and loving, but also strong and determined. She faced life with resilience and had a steady presence that those around her could always count on. Her love for her family will be carried on in the memories they shared together.
