Timothy "Tim" Efaw Obituary

Timothy Paul Efaw, 63, of Fairmont and formerly of Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 16, 1960 in Fairmont, a son of the late Lloyd Neil Efaw and Sally Hatfield Efaw.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Regenia Hustead Efaw, whom he married on August 17, 1991.

He is also survived by six children, Alicia Waggamon and husband Mark of Clarksburg, Derek Efaw and companion, Jennifer Gump of Clarksburg, Michael Huff and wife Deborah Lemasters of Salem, Chad Huff of Salem, Jason Huff of Salem and Kimberly Cox also of Salem; grandchildren, Trevor Purkey, Jeremy Efaw, Keyarra Efaw, Kaleb Efaw, Karly Efaw, Aiyanna Efaw, Nova Efaw, Dalton Huff, Christin Buffey, Brooklyn Buffey and one great grandson Roman Madina; one brother, Thomas Efaw of Virginia and Sally Ann Knight and husband Wendell of Mannington; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Paul Efaw; two grandchildren, Collin Huff and Lillyanna Efaw; and one sister, Debbie Efaw.

Tim was a graduate of Mannington High School, class of 1979 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served for eight years, serving in many locations.  He was employed as a Calibration Tech for Trescal and Acucal for many years, doing Military Government Contracts.

He was an avid West Virginia University Mountaineers fan.  He enjoyed cooking, family cookouts, bowling and fishing.  He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs, Abby and Skye.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 4-7 PM.   Interment will be held at a later date at West Virginia National Cemetery with Military Honors.  Online condolences may be sent to DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.  Davis Funeral Home is honored to assist the Efaw family.
