Thomas "David" Franklin, 65 of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Salem Center. He was born November 18, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Thomas Dudley Franklin III and Jean Lucille Leary Franklin. David graduated from Dundalk Senior High School. He attended Salem University and John Hopkins University. David worked for IBM in sales for several years. He was last working as a Census Worker at the US Census Bureau. He enjoyed gardening, volunteering for the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy and at Friends of Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. He is survived by three siblings, Deborah Jean Teodoro (Carlos) AL, Randall Louise Franklin, MD, Betty Mae Rosenberger, NC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Marie Stone. Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Franklin family.
