Tandy Crane Obituary

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Tandy Juanette Crane, who died at the age of 52 in Bridgeport, West Virginia, on September 6, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1972, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Janet Clayton and Gene Wayne Crane. She attended grade school in Livingston, Louisiana, and later pursued college in McKinney, Texas.

She had four children—Mirinda Juanette Hooker, Brianah Lynn Blount, Cody Wayne Blount, and Savanna Jordan Crane—who loved her deeply.

Tandy was ambitious and deeply dedicated to her professional growth. She started her own company, Temping by Tandy, and worked in the legal field, hospitality, residential property sales, and collegiate education at the corporate level. She contributed greatly to many organizations, leaving a lasting and positive impact wherever she went.

She had a passion for music as a singer and songwriter. She wrote many songs and inspired her children to become performers as well. She found joy in serving her community, often volunteering at retirement homes and churches, offering both a helping hand and a listening ear.

She was fiercely loyal and, in so many ways, independent and a fighter. She had a huge heart and drew strength from her children and her faith. She was close to God and sought to live her life in His image. Through her care and kindness—especially toward those less fortunate—she made a lasting impact.

She is now reunited with her father, Gene Wayne Crane, and her daughter, Brianah Lynn Blount.

She is survived by her children, Savanna, Mirinda, and Cody; her many grandchildren, whom she wished the greatest happiness; her siblings; her mother Janet; and numerous other friends and family members who are grieving her loss.

There will not be a formal service, but instead a private tribute on the evening of Friday, September 12th.

Tandy’s wishes for cremation will be honored.  Online condolences can be made at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Crane Family.
