Sue Ann (Davis) Sharp

Sue Ann (Davis) Sharp, 82 of Upper Tract, WV went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care.  She was born April 8, 1940 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late James Andrew and Vada Gay Cogar Davis.  

Sue graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1958. She went on to attend and graduate from Morgantown Cosmetology School. Sue was a homemaker and served her Lord alongside her husband in the Baptist Church, Pentecostal Church of God and The Church of God.  Sue was a member of Franklin Church of God.  Her life was the church what all she did at the church.

Her hobbies were sewing, coloring, baking, and making candy.      

Sue is survived by her three children, Jeffrey Dale Sharp and Rita, Beckley, Melanie Sharp, Clarksburg, Gregory Lynn Sharp and Nicole, Ashville, NC; ten grandchildren, Christina, Samantha, Josh, Victoria, Patrick, Elianna, Elsie, Marin, Mason and William; four great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Boggess, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Roy Dale Sharp on November 1, 2020, and an infant brother Kendell Lee Davis.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 11:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Rev Rob Borror officiating.
