Stephen Amberson Randolph, Sr.

Stephen Amberson Randolph,Sr., 82, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the WV Veterans Nursing Facility.  He was born August 12, 1937 in Clarksburg, son of the late John Denzil and Virginia Mary Duff Randolph.   

Stephen graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1955. He served in the United States Army. Stephen worked and retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Factory with twenty nine years of service and later from Stephen A Randolph Construction. He was a member of the Northview United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir. He was also a member of the Adamston Lions Club.   

Stephen is survived by his wife of sixty three years, Joan Marie Goolie Randolph whom he married April 20, 1957; two sons, Stephen A Randolph Jr, Clarksburg, Mark Alan Randolph and Heather, Bridgeport; one grandson, Tyler Evan Randolph, Bridgeport; and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Louis Randolph.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 1-3PM. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on Monday, August 10, 2020 with Rev. James Burrough officiating and full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and U.S. Army Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to the Northview United Methodist Church, Attention Brenda Smith, 1924 Goff Ave. Clarksburg, WV 26301.
