Stephen Ray Mitchell, Jr.

Stephen Ray Mitchell, Jr., 39, of Clarksburg passed away on March 11, 2022 in Kanawha County.  He was born on September 3, 1982 in Charleston, a son of Stephen Ray Mitchell, Sr. and Margaret Shaffer.

He is survived by his wife, Alexandra Coffman Mitchell, whom he married on June 30, 2015.

He is survived by two daughters, Rylee Mitchell and Serenity Mitchell both of Clarksburg; one brother, Joshua Mitchell and two sisters, Rosanna Mesh and Shelly Hallington.

Stephen was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving for 5 years during the Afghanistan War.  He enjoyed traveling and loved to drive.  He was fond of XBOX games and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a man of integrity and a man of his word.  He will  be missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:30pm with Willie Owens, III officiating.  Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, at 2:00 PM with Military Honors by the United States Army and Harrison County Honor Guard.
