Sheila Paulette Romeo, 69 of Gypsy went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at United Hospital Center. She was born June 8, 1956 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Moore) Morrison.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gary Lee Romeo.
Sheila is survived by her children, David O’Dell and wife Crystal of Wakefield, KS, and Louis O’Dell of Fairmont, WV. She was preceded in death by her son Chris O’Dell and is survived by her daughter-in-law Tiffany O’Dell of Clarksburg, WV.
Sheila was a Grandma to many to include: Kirstein Davis and husband Gerald of Shinnston, WV, Dillon O’Dell and wife Sarah of Clarksburg, WV, Caitlin Nelson and husband Anthony of Junction City, KS, Brady Dunn and wife Ruby of Honolulu, HI, Jared Hustead and wife Emma of Shinnston, WV, Chandler O’Dell and wife Dakota of Buckhannon, WV, Gannon O’Dell and wife Lacey of Holloman AFB, NM, Jordyn Footman and husband Kyle of Clarksburg, WV, Nick O’Dell of Fairmont, WV, Christopher O’Dell and fiancée Bella Richards of Clarksburg, WV, Camden O’Dell of Fairmont, WV, and Parker O’Dell of Fairmont, WV; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews;
Sheila is survived by her sisters: Ava O’Dell of Clarksburg, WV, and Susan Demetrius of Winter Springs, FL, and was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Morrison and Jim Morrison.
Sheila devoted several years of her life working for Whinings and Choice, where she approached her janitorial work with diligence and pride. She found joy in crafting and had a true servant’s heart, always eager to lend a helping hand. Sheila was a woman of many talents, never hesitant to try something new, and she carried herself with quiet strength and determination. She loved reading her Bible, talking on the phone with her friends, and sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. She will be remembered as a kind, good-hearted soul whose presence made life brighter for those around her. Faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the House of Faith Church.
There will be no viewing at this time. Celebration of life will come at a later time.
