Sharron Hope Hardy

Sharron Hope Hardy, 60 of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her residence with family by her side. She was born December 23, 1958 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late William Franklin Hardy Sr. and Jennie Elizabeth Winning Hardy.

Sharron is survived by her siblings, Betty Jean Miles, Russell Wayne Hardy and Brenda, Dale Hardy and Debra, and John P Hardy all of Clarksburg; brother-in-law, Jim Thornhill, Clarksburg; lifelong friend, Nancy Lindsey, Bridgeport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharron is preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Allen Hardy, William F Hardy Jr, James A Hardy, Harvey Hardy, and Janet Thornhill; sister-in-law’s Trena Hardy and Martha Hardy; brother-in-law, Floyd Miles.  

Sharron graduated from Washington Irving High School, Class of 1974 and WV Business College. She was a CNA and activities director at The Heritage in Bridgeport for over twenty eight years. She lived to help others and loved her cats and especially spending time with her family

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Greaver officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
