Sharon Elaine Shrader

Sharon "Shari" E. Shrader, 50, of Clarksburg died peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in Bridgeport after a long illness.  She was born in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of Daniel “Danny” Shrader and Joy Cain (nee Southern).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her companion, Eric Facemire, and Eric’s son Jason. 

She is survived by her stepfather Jeff Cain, stepmother Connie Shrader; brother Ryan Shrader, his wife Nikki, and their son Thomas; grandmother Edie Southern; uncle Steve Southern and his wife Sandy, aunt Pam Barker, aunt Sis, aunt Jan “Cissy” Padgett and her husband Mark, and her beloved cat Sparky. 

Special thanks to the Cain family (especially “Mag”) for helping and caring for Shari since her other family members live out of state.  Shari was loved and will be deeply missed.  But we take solace in the belief that she and her mom are together, eating steak sandwiches, and riding with her dad while he drives his school bus.
