Sharon Ann Murphy

Sharon Ann Murphy, 57 of Clarksburg passed away on September 17, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital of medical complications due to a long term illness.  Sharon was born May 6, 1961 at St. Mary’s hospital in Clarksburg the daughter of the late Howard S. and Elizabeth Snyder Watson.

Sharon was a homemaker, and a loving devoted mother. Sharon enjoyed cooking and watching her Dallas Cowboys. 

She is survived by her children, Roger Dale Watson and wife Kristen Watson of Clarksburg and Christopher Lee Watson of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Roger Odom Of Anmore, WV, Hannah Watson of Clarksburg, and Jordan Watson of Clarksburg; seven siblings, sister Mary Lawrence of Ohio, brother Larry Watson of Ohio, Brother Howard Watson (JR) of Clarksburg, Brother Bobby of Clarksburg, Sister Elizabeth Coffman of Buckhannon, WV, Jeanie Swiger of Bridgeport, and Harold Watson of Clarksburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Scott Murphy; two siblings, David and Jimmy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bible Baptist Temple in Stonewood on Friday September 28, 2018 at 1:00pm with Pastor Charles V. Madaus officiating.
