Sharon Ann McNeill

Sharon Ann McNeill, of Fairmont, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Pierpont Center.  She was born on September 6, 1943 in Saratoga Springs, NY, a daughter of the late William Bouford and Ada Bullard Parks.

Sharon moved to Falmouth, MA in the 1960’s where she met her husband, Lawrence Elton McNeill, who passed on November 11, 1966 while on active duty. It wasn’t until 2005 that Sharon moved back to Weston, WV. Sharon loved collecting business cards, coloring, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley and she loved her cat, Bindy. She was a strong woman and was known for having spunk.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Laurie Cardenas and husband Miguel of Fredericksburg, VA; three grandchildren, Kyle McNeill of VA, Samantha McNeill Serratos and husband Caesar Sr., Alyssa McNeill and Cheyanne Barrette all of IN; five great grandchildren, Bayley, Aaliyah, Mia, Caesar Jr. and Sebastian; one brother, Jack Dejnozka and Anne of Saratoga Springs, NY.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon is preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert “Bob” Bouford and Dale Parks; one nephew, Robert Bouford.
