Sharon Irene Smith

Sharon Irene Smith, 78, of Weston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Crestview Manor Healthcare Center. Born on February 7, 1947, in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late John Raymond and Joyce Mary (Ellis) Davis.

Sharon is survived by her son, Theodore “Ted” Limric of Akron, OH; one brother, Robert Davis of Akron, OH.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Roger William Smith, Jr.; two siblings, William Thorton Smith and Ethel Mae Davis Poling.

Sharon was a proud high school graduate who dedicated many years to working as a housekeeper, caring for others with quiet strength and devotion. She found joy and community at Victory Assembly Church, where her faith was a guiding light in her life. Sharon had a deep love for flowers, often delighting in their beauty, and she cherished simple pleasures like sightseeing and searching for hidden treasures while thrifting. She enjoyed being pampered, especially when getting her nails and hair done, moments that always brought out her radiant smile. Thoughtful and kind, Sharon never missed a chance to make others feel remembered and loved, sending cards for every holiday to brighten the days of those she cared about.

Per her wishes she will be cremated. Interment will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 10:00AM.
