Sharon Baughman Obituary

Sharon Kay Baughman, 64, of Ivydale, WV, passed away at United Hospital Center on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was born on July 23, 1961 in York, PA to Erma Rita Fox Chasteen of Ohio and the late James Vernon Steele.

Sharon is survived by her companion of 30+ years, Jack Rankin of Ivydale, wv; her sons, Jason Baughman (Rina) of York, PA and Martin Baughman of Dover, PA; grandson, Nolan Baughman; sister Pamela Milhollin (Brad); brother William Chasteen (Kat); 2 step-brothers, 4 step-sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

A 1979 graduate of Central York High School, Sharon was employed as a home health aide for many years. She enjoyed photography, crocheting, all things nature, and her many "critters".
