Selestine Kunkel Obituary

Selestine Marie Hoffman Kunkel, 53, of Lost Creek, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  She was born on November 18, 1970, Baltimore, MD, a daughter of  Exie Jean Southern Hanssen and raised by the late George Alexander Hoffman Jr.

Selestine is survived by three children, Nicholas Kunkel and wife Courtney of Canonsburg, PA, Kelli Henderson and husband Levi of Bridgeport, and Joshua Hoffman and wife Jessica of Bridgeville, PA; three grandchildren, Mason and Haven Henderson, and Matthew Hoffman; companion of fourteen years who loved her very very much, Josh Vanhorn; one sister, Paula Wells and husband Christopher Wells Sr. of Clarksburg.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Currey.

Selestine graduated from Chesapeake High School. She enjoyed camping, being at the pool and going to the beach. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

A Celebration of Selestine’s Life will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at Davisfuneralhomewv.com. Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is honored to serve the family.
