Sandra Sue (Bennett) Swiger

Sandra Sue Bennett Swiger, 78 of Reynoldsville, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at her daughters’ residence in Salineville, OH. Sandra was born September 19, 1942, daughter of the late Ross Silcott and Woodbee Marie Bennett. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Charles “Keek Cleveland Swiger whom she married on July 14, 1961. 

Sandra is survived by two sons, Chuck Swiger and wife Missy and Scott Swiger, all of Reynoldsville, WV; two daughters, Marie Swiger Kiner and husband George of Reynoldsville, WV, and Kimberly Davis and Dan McKendry of Salineville, OH; eight grandchildren, Charly, Travis, Tina, Bruce, Carissa, Gavin, Rylan, Kaylee; ten great grandchildren, Savannah, Nick, Abby, Darren, Dakota, Mycheal, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Amelia, Gabe, Brycen; one great great grandchildren, Noah; five siblings, Nancy Drainer and Marlo Root, Nutter Fort, Roger Bland and Kathy, Salem, Joby Bland and Sharon, Avon, OH, Jim Silcott, Sandusky, OH, Wayne Bland, Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra was preceded in death by son-in-law, Fred Davis; siblings, Tom Bennett, Jack Bennett, John Bland, Dwayne “Buck” Bland, Shirrell Olitz, Brenda Brown and Shirley McCartney; two grandchildren, Audie, and Joshua.

Sandra was a homemaker and attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, and her IPAD. She loved spending time with her large family and friends.   

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 1-7PM.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Rev Tim Sandy officiating.
