Sandra Kay (Stutler) Cunningham

Sandra Kay Cunningham, 77 of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born on September 9, 1945 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Edward Eugene and Juanita Parker Stutler.

Sandra worked as a seamstress with So-Fro Fabrics. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doing crafts, camping and collecting owls and sunflowers.   

Sandra is survived by her children, George D Owens Jr and JD, Bridgeport; Sheri Lynn Kennedy and Mark, Lost Creek; stepson, Brian Cunningham and Kelly, Greenwood; stepdaughter, Wendy Cox, Parkersburg; sister, Stephanie Faye Hedrick and Garry, Shinnston; son-in-law, Robert “Robbie” Lee Hilliard Jr, Clarksburg; grandchildren, Matthew Owens, Zachary Hilliard, Isaiah Robert Hilliard, Joshua Cox, Chase McClung, Krista Luft and Andrew, Melyssa Pickford and Tyler; step grandchildren, Jalise Cunningham, Connor Cunningham, Kaitlyn Cunningham; great grandchildren; Braylon, Kobe, Zowie, Cohen, Cheyanne, Charlie, Ariel, and Deacon; step great grandchildren, Kasani, Kai, and Sabastyn; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Cunningham on January 25, 2016; one daughter, Kimberly “Kim” Dawn Hilliard on January 17, 2023; one brother, Edward Parker Stutler.

Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 3-7pm.
