Roy James McIntyre

Roy James McIntyre, 39, of Coshocton, OH, formally of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born on February 6, 1984, in Clarksburg, WV, son of Kenneth Earl McIntyre and the late Mary Jean Gunderlach Lambert.

Roy graduated from South Harrison High School Class of 2003. He worked for Schlumberger for several years, working his way up to field supervisor. Roy was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and  going boating. He also loved to play football and golf, but most of all spending time with his family. 

In addition to his father, Roy is survived by his companion of six years, Tasha Wiggins; five children, Annabel Bongiorno, Brielle Bongiorno, Barrett McIntyre, Bryson Robert Wiggins and Blakelyn Marie Wiggins; twelve siblings, John Russell McIntyre and companion Chelsea Eddy of Clarksburg, Sheyann Marie Posey and companion Kelly Layton of Anmoore, Robert Eugene McIntyre and wife Emily of lost Creek, Wade Edward McIntyre of Clarksburg, Shauna Ann McIntyre and companion Jason Cole of Clarksburg, Brooklyn Sue Lambert of Idamay, Kenny McIntyre of Charleston, Orvel McIntyre of Clarksburg, Trish McIntyre and Chris, Charleston, Bobbi Jo McIntyre of Stonewood, Steven Charles Fragmin and wife Rhonda of Stonewood and Bryan Matthew Fragmin of Mt. Clare; stepfather, Kenny Fragmin of Clarksburg; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Roy is preceded in death by his cousin, Johnny Franklin McIntyre.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 for visitation on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 12:00pm-5:00pm and on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am with Steven Fragmin officiating.
