Rosemary (Pratt) Carr

Rosemary Carr, 94, of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born on July 2, 1926 in Lost Creek, WV the daughter of the late Harvey L. and Mary A. Beachlor Pratt.

Rosemary was a homemaker. She married her husband, Robert “Bob” Carr, on July 23, 1953 and together they shared 48 beautiful years, until his passing on February 12, 2002.  Rosemary was a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #11 Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She was also a fifty year plus member of the Duff Street United Methodist Church.

Rosemary is survived by Theresa Carr, Charleston; two grandchildren, Jamie Miller and Josh Brewer; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by one son, Guy John Brewer; and two sisters, Genevieve Small, Edna Kennedy; three brothers, Paul, Hayward, and Wesley Pratt.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park with Reverend Cliff Schell officiating. Online condolences can be made on DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.
