Rosalie Ware Obituary

Rosalie Ann Ware, 65, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at her daughters’ residence. She was born on September 14, 1959, in Plattsburgh, NY, daughter of the late Leon Ernest Lavender and Rose Mae Peck Lavender.

Rosalie worked several jobs, but took most pride in being a wonderful homemaker for her family. She took care of her mother from 1991 to January of 2001 when she passed of a sudden illness Her home wasn’t just a place, it was a sanctuary. She poured herself into every detail, ensuring that her family not only had what they needed, but also felt deeply loved. From lovingly prepared meals to thoughtful traditions, she created a life that was both nurturing and proud. She was a warrior in every sense of the word. A courageous soldier who faced the storms of life and the fury of battle with unwavering resolve. Even in the darkest of times, she wore a smile that could light up the coldest days. That smile wasn’t just for show, it was a reflection of her spirit: unbreakable, hopeful, and full of warmth. Her heart was wide open, always ready to give, to comfort, to lift others up. She led with compassion, offering wisdom to all who needed it. She was the kind of person who found joy in the simple things, the crackle of a campfire under a starlit sky drinking a nice cold beer, the gentle tug of a fish on the line, and the soothing rhythm of yarn slipping through her fingers. Her spirit was both adventurous and nurturing, grounded in nature and wrapped in the comfort of handmade love.
