Rosalee Jenkins 80, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1945 in Jarvisville, WV, a daughter of the late Lee Roy and Ruth Virginia (Murphy) Lorentz.
Rosalee is survived by two sons: Leslie Eugene Jenkins and David Lee Jenkins, both of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Justyn Tyler Jenkins and Kaitlyn Doris Jenkins; one sister, Ernestine Fay Murphy of Clarksburg; close friends, Margaret Wolfe and Tracy Jones; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rosalee is preceded in death by one son, Ronald Eugene Jenkins, Jr.; one brother, Ernest Lee Lorentz.
Rosalee, graduated from the Bristol Harrison High School Class of 1963. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She lovingly served as a nurse’s aide, cook, and janitor at Lyda Clark Nursing Home for many years, touching countless lives with her warmth and kindness. She also contributed her time to the Job Squad, always willing to lend a helping hand. A devoted member of North View United Methodist Church, Rosalee’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She had a lifelong passion for West Virginia University sports, quietly piecing together puzzles and a genuine love for cooking, filling her home and the hearts of those around her with comfort and joy.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 3:00-7:00PM and on Friday, November 21, 2025 at North View United Methodist Church, 1320 N 19th St, Clarksburg, WV 26301 from10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Pastor Sarah Allen officiating.
