Ronald Phillips Obituary

Ronald Ray Phillips, 82 of Buckhannon, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the United Hospital Center. He was born March 18, 1937 in Ten Mile, WV; the son of the late Herman and Mary Crites Phillips.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Laurel Phillips; two children, Kathleen and Timothy Phillips, both of Buckhannon; one brother, Gary Phillips and wife Betty of Katy, TX; one sister Mary and Charlie Elder of St. Mary’s, WV, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, Kenneth Phillips, Berkley Phillips, Norris “Phil” Phillips, Lorraine Humphreys and Juanita Slaughter.

Ronald was a member of the West Buckhannon Methodist Church for several years. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ, studying the Bible and sharing his testimony. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He could build anything and enjoyed remodeling. Most of all, he was a devoted and loving husband and father.

Per Ronald’s request, cremation services were provided. There will be no services at this time.
