Roger Dwayne Wilmoth, Sr.

Roger Dwayne Wilmoth Sr, 80, of Mount Clare passed away Friday, September 13, 2024. He was born October 21, 1943 in Stonewood, son of the late Perry Creed and Wanda Bayrene Teter Wilmoth.

Roger started out working Construction and was a heavy equipment operator for several years. He then went to work for Union Carbide and UCAR Carbon in Anmoore as a machinist until his retirement in 1993. Roger was an animal lover, along with sitting on the back porch feeding the wildlife. His love was family and spending time with grandchildren.

Roger leaves behind his wife, Debra “Debbie” Kay (Newbrough) Wilmoth whom he married on January 1, 1991; three sons, the late Roger Dwayne Wilmoth Jr who passed in 2023, Dusty Lane Wilmoth, Nutter Fort, Jeremy Levi Wilmoth, Bridgeport; three daughters-in-law, Kelly Jo (Moran) Wilmoth, Lori (King) Wilmoth, and Shelby (McDougal) Wilmoth; grandchildren, Justin Creed Wilmoth (Katie), Alex Clayton (Steven), Adalyn Grace Wilmoth and Lydia Jane Wilmoth; great grandchildren, Waylon, Layla, Lily, Ekeo and Evie; and bonus son, Danny Dennison, Bridgeport.

In addition to his parents and son, Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Creed Edward “Buddy” Wilmoth in 1966.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM.
